Obituary For Benjamin J. "Benny" Farabaugh

Benjamin J. “Benny” Farabaugh, 46, Ebensburg, passed away March 21, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born January 3, 1978 in Altoona, the son of Fred Farabaugh and Diane Claire (Warefield) Farabaugh. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father Fred and Sandy; wife, Tracy L. (Popish) Farabaugh, whom he married July 18, 2009; children: Christopher (Shannon) Regula, Pittsburgh; Damian Farabaugh, Emeigh; Devin Schankweiler, Beaverdale; Madison Farabaugh, Indiana, Pa; Angel Farabaugh at home; grandchildren: Cora and Everly Farabaugh; sisters: Charlene Verdavoir; Jennifer Farabaugh, Jamie (Sean Nelson) Farabaugh; Uncle David Farabaugh and several nieces and nephews. He spent his life as a truck driver and a farmer on the family farm “Mile Stretch Farm, Ebensburg.” Benny loved trucking, the ocean, jet skiing and spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 146 North Main Street, Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Interment church cemetery.
