Our Funeral Home

Our facility is at 146 North Main Street, Carrolltown.

Visitation Rooms

Our main visitation room is a large and comfortable space for family and friends to offer their condolences.

At the Stevens Funeral Home we offer many options for those who prefer cremation as a means of final disposition. The only difference between a funeral service followed by burial and one followed by cremation is that the remains are taken to the crematory after the service instead of to the cemetery for burial. This means that families have the option to have visitations and funeral services where the remains are present and still choose cremation as a means of disposition.

The Stevens Funeral Homes Inc. is a member of the Selected Independent Funeral Homes. For more information about this organization and more funeral information please visit their website by clicking here.

About Us

The Stevens Funeral Homes have been in the Stevens family for well over 100 years and are proud to be serving the greater Carrolltown and Patton areas. Today the funeral homes continue to be owned and managed by the Stevens family.

James Renninger who is also is an owner serves as the managing funeral director. We are designed to be proactive in meeting the needs of the families we serve. The Stevens funeral homes are a result of the loyalty, honesty, character, and integrity of our predecessors.  Since our inception our firm has recognized the need for commitment not only to the families we serve but also the communities we serve.

It is with these values that we have been able to endure and grow for over 130 years. It is with these values that we continue to serve the people of the Carrolltown and Patton areas. Thank you for visiting our website. Continue to peruse it or contact us for any questions you may have.

“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.”

Celebrate Life

The staff of Stevens Funeral Home encourage you to call, visit, or send personal cards to the family. However, we realize that this is not always possible.

Therefore, we have created a condolence and tribute section on each obituary page for you to send your thoughts and prayers to the family members and friends of the deceased. Sharing memories to celebrate life can be helpful during the grieving process.

Possibly for the first time, the word grief has become personal. No longer is death something that happens to other people in other places. The multitude of experiences resulting from this overwhelming loss-emotional, physical, social, spiritual and cognitive-comprise what we call “grief.”

We are always interested in hearing from the families we serve.

Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
