Charles L. “Charlie” Butterworth, Jr., 74, Northern Cambria, passed away unexpectedly May 8, 2023. He was born February 4, 1949 in Brookville, the son of Charles L. and Margaret (Switzler) Butterworth, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Ralph and Ben Butterworth. He is survived by his loving wife, Malerie (Cattoi) Butterworth, whom he married September 28, 1978; daughter, Kristin (Katherine) Butterworth, Uniontown, Pa; granddaughter, Eleanor Butterworth; brother, Robert Butterworth; sisters, Cynthia Laverick, Elin Steffey and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a surveyor for Barnes and Tucker and Tanoma and retired from CME Engineering. Charlie was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved spending time with “his little girl.” At Charlie’s request there will be no viewing or services.
