Obituary For Charles Michael Feighner

Charles Michael Feighner, 64, Loretto, formerly of Carrolltown passed away unexpectedly of Covid-19 December 6, 2020 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 5, 1956 in Spangler, the son of Robert and Rosella (Buck) Feighner. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Annette (Maurer) Feighner; children: Cheryl (Benjamin) Stape, Johnstown; Matthew Feighner, Loretto; grandchildren Taylor and Luke Stape; brother Joseph Feighner, New Bethlehem; sisters Norma Pinkerton, East Lake, OH; Annie (Ron) Zemlock, Northern Cambria; several nieces and nephews and special friends Patty Myers and Kelly McMullen. Charlie was a 1974 graduate of Cambria Heights High School. His mining career started at Barnes & Tucker and led to Greenwich Collieries with a total of 19 years. He worked many jobs, masonry, carpentry, carpet installation and driving bus for Tri-County Transportation. Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting and fireworks. He had several special pets including his dog Tiko and many cats. His family extends a special thank you to the angels at Haida Healthcare. Honoring his wishes, there will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass at 10:00 am Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Interment church cemetery.
