Dorothy L. “Dot” Plouse, 81, Carrolltown, passed away August 23, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 24, 1944 in Carrolltown daughter of Norbert and Genevieve (Shank) Gray. She is preceded in death by parents; daughter, Sandy Skupine; grandson, Kevin Boslet; 12 siblings; and her cat, Dude. She is survived by significant other, Tim Malloy; Children, Bonnie (Bill) Westrick, Karen Warner, Tim (Lisa) Trinkley, and Gary Plouse; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; son-in-law, John Skupine; sisters, Joan Strittmatter and Erma Hermanson; numerous nieces and nephews; and her cat, Trooper. Dorothy was a member of the St. Benedict Church. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, games with family and friends, spending time with her cat Trooper, and watching Pirates and Steelers games. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday September 2, 2025 from 9 am in the Boniface Wimmer Room until the time of the 10 am funeral mass at St. Benedict Church. Fr.
