She learned to sew, knit, crochet and made clothes for many of us. She had many homemade recipes and made the best homemade bread and apple pies. Nanny loved spending time with the family, especially the grandkids. She also loved Dairy Queen blizzards, receiving packages from Boscov’s and attending family reunions and traveling with her partner in crime-Helen. Many thanks to Dr. Chris Paronish and staff, Resta, From the Heart, Home Nursing Agency, Family Hospice, Sharbaugh’s Pharmacy and special thanks to Deb and Chick Lamont (Golden Boy) for all the help throughout the years. At. Louise’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Interment at a later date by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown. Contributions may be made to the Bakerton United Methodist Church in her memory. You may leave online condolences at or on our Stevens Family Facebook page.
