Obituary For Douglas B. Kieffer
Douglas B. Kieffer, 88, Patton, passed away September 13, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 21, 1937 in Abington,PA, son of Douglas and Grace (Osburne) Kieffer. He is preceded in death by parents; wife, Grace (Baker) Kieffer; sisters, Jane Brown, Dorothy Worst, and Shirley Ford; and son in law, Russ Horton. He is survived by children, Rick (Laurie) Kieffer of Kenosha, WI, Dell (Karen) Kieffer of Waukegan, IL, Pam Horton of Patton, and Nina Price of Patton; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren;1 great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doug served in the US Navy for 4 years. He retired from construction specializing in Heating and HVAC. He was a member of the St. Benedict Church. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, dancing, and bowling in traveling leagues. Family and friends will be received Thursday September 18, 2025 from 10 am in the Boniface Wimmer Room until the 11 am funeral mass at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Father Michael Gabler OSB, Celebrant. Committal at St. Benedict Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by local veterans. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown. Family request contributions to be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church in Doug’s memory.
