Obituary For Elda A. "Birdie" Weber-Krumenacker

Elda A. “Birdie” Weber-Krumenacker, 97, Carrolltown, passed away July 22, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. She was born July 22, 1924 in West Carroll Twp., the daughter of Amandus V. and Annie (Sunderland) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Leroy Weber on December 23, 1964, second husband Henry Krumenacker on January 26, 2015, brothers Joseph, Rembrandt, Arthur and Jimmy Miller; sisters Winifred Bradford, Eileen Kelly, Evelyn Lantzy and Mary Buck. She is survived by children: Joseph A. (Peggy) Weber, Anne Marie (Donald) Weber-Farabaugh; grandchildren: Jennifer (Adam) Weber-Terza, Danielle (Alan) Weber-Peters, Michele (Luke) Weber-Shirf; great grandchildren: Isabele and Abigail Terza, Blake and Macy Schirf; brother and sisters Francis Miller, Ligonier; Doris Stossel and Edith Bradford, both of Northern Cambria and numerous nieces and nephews. Elda was a graduate of Miners Hospital School of Nursing, where she worked as a registered nurse for many years. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Elda enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and grandchildren. At Elda’s request, there will no visitation. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice in Birdie’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.
