Emma T. Venesky, 95, of Elmora passed away February 8, 2023 at Maple View Country Villa, Chardon, OH. She was born September 20, 1927 in Bakerton, the daughter of Anicetus and Emma Jane (McDermitt) Farabaugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Paul J. Venesky; brothers Joseph Farabaugh, Patrick J. Farabaugh and sister, Eileen Link. She is survived by children: George J. (Rita) Venesky, Chardon, OH; Paul “Sunny” (Kristen) Venesky, Ridgley, MD; grandchildren: Jami, Jill, Jess and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Emma spent her life as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a member of the Bakerton VFW. At Emma’s request there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Monday, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Committal at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Elmora.
