Jane T. Buck, 91, Carrolltown, passed away January 1, 2022 at Miners Medical Center. She was born September 22, 1930 in Carrolltown the daughter of Gregory E. and Mary C. (Shero) Buck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Francis , Grace Dillon, William, Helen Malloy, Rosemary Grove, Dorothy Zadai and Gregory Buck. She is survived by her sister Marian (Richard) Kirsch, Nicktown and numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was employed as a registered nurse for fifty years at New York University Hospital in New York City as the nurse in charge of seventeen operating rooms. She was professional, religious, caring and a very generous person throughout her life. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. At Jane’s request there will be no viewing. A funeral Mass will be held 10 am Wednesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Michael Gabler O.S.B. Interment, church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Benedict Catholic Church Improvement Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. Carrolltown.
