Obituary For Joann G. Behe

Joann G. Behe, 90, Carrolltown passed away February 1, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was born July 20, 1930 in Patton, the daughter of Joseph and Nellie (Pulaski) Cammarata . In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond J. Behe; grandson Jeremy Monborne and sister Geraldine Giacento. She is survived by children: Timothy (Nancy) Behe, Carrolltown; Barbara (Kevin) McConnell, Loretto; Linda Holler, Carrolltown; Thomas (Kathy Keller) Behe, Vienna, VA; Michael Behe, Franklin, PA; grandchildren: Matthew, Emily, Erin Behe; Angela (Thomas) Friday; Andrew (Elyse) McConnell; Daniel (Jesi Mankowski) McConnell; Julie McConnell and fiancé Peter Regalado; Jenna (Barry) Mulraney; Kristin (Zachary) Schultz; Lauren and Ryan Behe; Miranda Behe; great grandchildren: Bree Monborne; Charlie and Jack Mulraney; great great grandchildren: Jeremy Kielbowick; Aerilyn Pompa; niece Diane (Larry Koecher) Giacento; several nieces, nephews; special friends Dorothy Penrod; Ida Gobris; Barb Mallory and Fred McConnell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Joann was a graduate of Patton High School. She spent her life as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown; Altar Rosary Society and was a Foster grandmother. She loved baking and hosting holiday dinners. At Joann’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Friday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB. Interment church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown. Covid-19 restrictions are in place, so if you plan on attending masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148.
