Obituary For Julie A. Ager

On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, Julie Ager, our sweet little angel, passed away at the age of 51. Julie was born in 1971 to Norman and Agnes (Stevens) Ager. Julie touched the spirits of everyone who knew her. She was deeply loved and cared for by her parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Julie surrendered her life to Retts Syndrome. Her life mission and greatest success was to help all who knew her to evolve in our ability to show compassion, empathy, and unconditional love. Throughout Julie’s life she loved wheel-chair rides outside, listening to birds singing, music, her dolls and fun decorations, and being loved by her family. Julie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julia and Thomas Ager, and Elizabeth and Cyril Stevens. She is survived by her parents, Norman and Agnes Ager, and her siblings, Eric, Erin, and Amanda. Julie’s last days were spent comfortably in joyful sadness in the thoughts and presence of her family, relatives, and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please remember Julie and keep her in your prayer. The family expresses much gratitude for the good care Julie received while at Cambria Care the past month and to Grane Hospice for the care Julie received during her final days and to Pam, her long-time sitter. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.
