Lawrence J. “Larry” Springer, 82, Carrolltown, passed away January 18, 2024 at home. He was born April 29, 1941 in Spangler, the son of the late Gerald W. and Laura (Hoover) Springer. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. (Freidhof) Springer, whom he married January 30, 1965; children: Brian Springer ( Joan Fox), Carrolltown; Eric (Ronda) Springer, Clymer; Karen (Ray) Kelly, Carrolltown; sisters, Bernadette Behe, Ebensburg; Erma Mae (Charles) Hanlon, Munster and several nieces and nephews. He spent his life as a lifelong farmer. Larry was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. At Larry’s request, there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Monday, January 29, 2024 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Interment church cemetery.
