We knew Lew through the Penn State Master Gardeners. Lew was such a friendly, knowledgeable man. He did so much for the community and the volunteer work. He would call to check up on us, he will be greatly missed. I don't think there's another person that could possibly fill his shoes. Our deepest condolences to his family.

I offer my most heartfelt condolences to Lew's family. It's always sad when the world loses such a wonderful person. I've known Lew most of my career in Automotive glass. Words can not truly reflect what a terrific and accomplished engineer and leader he was. He was broadly respected and a go to person for his skill and knowledge but more importantly he was universally admired for his genuine care for others. Lew was a true Servant leader. He touched many of us in positive ways and was a difference maker. May we all be comforted in knowing there's no doubt that due to his friendly giving and teaching manor and his positive impact on many, Lew was welcomed with open arms by our Father in Heaven and is reunited with all his loved ones who preceded him! We'll miss you my friend! with sincere sympathy, Joe Stas
