Louise C. Finui
December 30, 1931 -July 8, 2026

Louise C. Finui, 94, Hastings, formerly of Elmora, Pa, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at UPMC Altoona. She was born December 8, 1931 in Patton; the daughter of the late Alphonse and Virginia (Waugh) Noel.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, George Finui, whom passed away March 13, 1992; sisters, Martha Verdavoir, Mary Jane Skelton, son-in-law, Walter Swarden, grandson, Nathan Finui and two daughters in infancy.
She is survived by her loving children: George “Butch” (fiancé, Linda Baker) Finui, Jr., Elmora; Nancy Lee Simmons, NY; Kathy Swarden, Johnstown; seven grandchildren: Tonya (Brian) Kosicki; Walter (Christi) Swarden, Jr.; Carrie (Matthew) Vinglish; Melanie (Michael) Resick; Michael (Sammantha) Swarden; Mary Beth (fiancé, Danny Gearing) Swarden; Tammy Westover; six great grandchildren: Rea and Jase Kosicki; Easton Resick; Blake and Ava Swarden; River Gearing; brother, Alphonse “Bud” Noel, Mineral Point; sisters, Shirley McDermott, Erie; Patty Weakland, Patton; Connie Bernard, Hastings; Linda Christoff, Ebensburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louise retired from the Ebensburg Center as a dietary worker after 30 plus years of service. She enjoyed shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and going to camp in Potter County.
Friends will be received from 5-8 pm Friday, July 10, 2026 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown, where a Panachida service will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday. Service of Repose at 10 am, Saturday at SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Elmora by Fr. Paul Bigelow. Committal, church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Haida Manor and UPMC Altoona for their great care of Louise.
