Obituary For Marta M. Kline

Marta Marie (Comrie) Kline, 70, Denver, PA, passed away at home on April 2, 2021 after battling lymphatic leukemia. She was care for by family and her beloved dog, Bandit, as well as support from friends, family, loving neighbors and Hospice. She was born November 22, 1950 in Sellersville, PA, daughter of the late David R. and Mary (Kessler) Comrie. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald T. and her brother, Duane. She is survived by her son, Jason Brand (Paola) and daughter, Jennie Brand. Siblings: Bonnie Oliver, Swannanoa, NC; David (Phyllis) Comrie, Swannanoa, NC; sister-in-law, Lisa Comrie, North Babylon, NY; nieces and nephews. She was blessed by Ronnie’s many brothers and sisters throughout their 29 years of marriage and even after his passing. Marta worked most of her life as an accountant, at Benson Construction Company on Long Island, NY and then at Reamstown Mutual Insurance in PA until she retired at 65. She lived her life to the fullest as an avid traveler, by land and sea, throughout the U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean islands. She loved camping, skiing, gardening, crafting and family time. Marta was such a loving caring person who enlightened anyone who came to know her. Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am Friday, at St. Benedict Catholic Church Carrolltown, by Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB. In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made in Marta’s name directed to the Penn State Cancer Institute.
