Mellie M. Kelly

Mellie M. Kelly, 94, Johnstown, passed away November 5, 2026 at home. She was born March 18, 1932 in Patton, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Velma C. (Fox) Kuhnley.

Mellie married Richard P. Kelly on November 11, 1955, he preceded her in death on November 10, 2017.

She is survived by her children: Marie E. “Beth” (Gary) Foor of Davidsville; Anthony R. Kelly of Johnstown; and Cynthia (Dennis) Kelly Mauser of Kutztown, Pa; three grandchildren: Stephen Foor, Melanie Harris and Tabitha Kelly Mauser.

Mellie previously worked at the Department of Labor and Department of Agriculture as a secretary and for Microbac Laboratories and Strand Laboratories.

Mellie was preceded in death by her daughter, Camilla Zalucki, a sister, Dr. Camilla Bauer and a brother, Ralph E. Kuhnley.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 18, 2026 at St. Benedict Church 2310 Bedford St, Johnstown, PA 15904, Father Dave Peles, celebrant.

Committal at St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Benedict Church in Johnstown in Mellie’s memory.
