Obituary For Mildred E. "Millie" Cunningham

Mildred E. “Millie” Cunningham, 89, Hastings, formerly of Carrolltown passed away April 22, 2024 at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 26, 1934 in East Carroll Twp., the daughter of Raymond M. and Pearl C. (Yeckley) Weber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur T. Cunningham, brothers, Merle, John, Floyd and Gervace Weber, sisters, Arlene Hoover, Virginia Cunningham and Theresa Fortner and grandchildren, Brennan and Aaron Tomiczek. She is survived by children: Eugene (Suzie) Cunningham, Carrolltown; Nancy Holtz, Hastings; Lisa (John) Tomiczek, Carrolltown; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Patti), Adam (Missy), Laura and Nathan (Paige) Holtz; Kyle, Kenny and Kraig Cunningham; Breanna and Melina Tomiczek; great grandchildren: Hunter and Hannah Holtz; brothers and sisters: Leo (Theresa) Weber, Painesville, OH; Dorothy Stasik, Cresson; Joseph (Rosie) Weber, Harold (Dolly) Weber, Rose Prevost, all of Carrolltown; Dennis (Caroline) Weber, Nicktown; Irvin (Joyce) Weber, Carrolltown; David (Sally) Weber, Carrolltown; sister in law, Sally Weber and numerous nieces and nephews and close friends. She retired from Van Heusen Shirt Factory after many years of service. Millie was a member St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown; Altar Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Haida Healthcare, staff at Aseracare, especially her assigned nurse Courtney who took the extra care to become friends with our mother during her time of need. Family and friends will be received in the Boniface Wimmer Room of St. Benedict Catholic Church Monday, from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am funeral Mass at the church, by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB.
