Obituary For Paul Eugene Hoffman

Paul Eugene Hoffman

December 30, 1958-December 1, 2024

Paul Eugene Hoffman, 66, Carrolltown went to his final rest Sunday at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. He was born in Williamsport, the son of the late Calvin and Jean (Schlee) Hoffman.

Surviving Paul are his life partner, Nancy Desmond of Virginia and her two daughters; a sister, Sherry Randolph; brothers, David and James and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved puppies that will be with Nancy and her daughters.

Paul was an alumnus of Bloomsburg University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Later in life, Paul regularly returned to Bloomsburg to celebrate the annual Bloomsburg Fair.

He moved to Virginia where he worked in restaurant management for many years, working for Burger King, 7-11, and KFC, but returned to Pennsylvania with his partner Nancy to fulfill his dream of owning a restaurant. They opened The Well-Seasoned Café, and later Johnstown Henry D’s.

Paul loved traveling and drove cross country twice and wanted to take another trip. He also was an avid camper who spent many fall and winter weeks in New York state parks.

Friends will be received from 5-7 pm, Friday, December 6, 2024 at Stevens Funeral Home, 146 N. Main St., Carrolltown, PA 15722.

Interment will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens, Montgomery, PA.

Uncle Paul it's been years since I seen you. I hope you are at peace no pain and I hope you are with gram sharing your Reese peanut butter cups! You will never be forgotten! The memories as your niece I will never forget you. From moving from pa to va. You were an uncle that was filled with lots of information. Wish I could seen ya for one last time. But one day we see each other enjoying our peanut butter with gram!
