Obituary For Pauline L. Lieb
Pauline L. Lieb, 81, Carrolltown, passed away August 21, 2023 at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. She was born February 10, 1942 in Spangler, the daughter of Raymond and Louise (Lantzy) Westrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Westrick. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Alfred M. Lieb, Jr., whom she married August 14, 1965; children: Jeffrey (Sheila) Lieb, Centre Hall; Craig (Lisa) Lieb, Hastings; Kimberly (Gina Steadman) Lieb, Evergreen, CO; grandchildren: Rachel, Mason, Joshua Lieb, Nathan (Romina), Zachary, Bradley Lieb, Layne, Quinn Lieb; sisters: Janell Holtz, Linda (Lew) Nevins, Mary Jane (Rick) Terza, Jean Westrick and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Mount Aloysius College. She taught school in York, Pa for a short time, then spent her life as a loving wife, mother and Nana. She was also employed at Laurel Crest Manor for several years. Pauline was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, playing cards with family and friends and making apple pies. Family and friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 146 North Main Street Carrolltown, Pa, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional visitation will be held, Thursday, August 24, 2023 in the Boniface Wimmer Room at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Mass at the church, by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Benedict Catholic Church.
