Richard A. Prevost, Jr., 52, Carrolltown, passed away April 13, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 27, 1971 in Spangler, the son of Richard A. and Rose (Weber) Prevost, Sr. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Rose Prevost, Carrolltown; son, Brock Prevost, Hastings; sister, Mariam (Jerry) Bankovich, DuBois; brother, Michael (Dawn) Prevost, Nanty-Glo; nieces and nephews: Brandon and Kayla Prevost, Andrea and Justin Bankovich, Derek and Nick Price and special friend, Robin Peles. Richard was previously employed at Ebensburg Agway and Secure Treatment Unit in Cresson. He was a member of the Carrolltown Businessman’s Club. He loved taking care of his yard and spending time with his family at the Outer Banks. He was a faithful man who loved God and family.
