Obituary For Richard P. Karlheim

Richard P. “Dick” Karlheim, 70, Carrolltown passed away May 20, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 22, 1954 in Spangler the son of Leo J. and Elizabeth (Kline) Karlheim. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Gerald F. Karlheim; and sister Linda Lowmaster. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jeannie (Weaver) Karlheim; son, Gerald “Jerry” (Tammy Erwin) Karlheim; daughter, Sherry (Brad) Kelly; grandchildren, Lakin, Kendra, Breanna, and Emma Kelly; siblings, Regis (Sharon Leamer) Karlheim of Patton, Karen (Daniel) Whited of Patton, and Theresa (James) Farabaugh of Ebensburg; brother-in-law, Glenn Lowmaster; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dick was a 1973 graduate of Cambria Heights and was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed spending time farming with Jerry Krumenacker. Dick lived life at full speed and loved his red tractors. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church where he was a former usher. At Dick’s request there will be no viewing. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am Saturday May 24, 2025 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Rev. Michael Gabler O.S.B. celebrant. Interment at St. Benedict Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. Carrolltown.
