It was wonderful growing up on Benedict Street and playing outside long after the curfew blew with all the kids on our street! : o) Sled riding down the street and the boys ditching the girls pushing us into the curb. Skiing on the reservoir hill, playing Hide and Seek using the telephone/electric pole as home base, and many more good times. Back in the day when I went to Kelly's Market to pick up groceries for my Mum, Mr. Kelly would call to me when I entered the store and said to call my Mum because she wanted me to pick up additional items. In those days you only needed to dial the last four digits of the phone numbers to call people within C'town. Families worked together and looked out for each others children. Had the privilege of working for Ronnie at Ron's Market for a little while. I'll always remember Ronnie's wonderful smile and our many conversations. Thankful that I was able to visit with him and Mary Anne while enjoying the fresh air at Haida Manor with my little Mum. Praying our Lord's comfort upon each of you as you remember Ronnie and all those growing up years to the present.
