Obituary For Stanley E. "Beanie" Zatorsky

Stanley E. “Beanie” Zatorsky, 70, Carrolltown, passed away February 22, 2024 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born March 16, 1953 in Spangler, the son of Stanley and Margaret (Kiminsky) Zatorsky. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Bailey. He is survived by his mother; wife, Cynthia R. (Rice) Zatorsky, whom he married June 28, 1975; children: David (Brooke) Zatorsky, Greenville, NC; Heather (Clayton) Diehl, Carrolltown; grandchildren: Austin, Benjamin, Bryson, Mason, Jacob and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1971 graduate of Northern Cambria High School. He retired as a coal miner from 24 B and Tanoma Mines after many years of service. He was a member of the UMWA. Stanley enjoyed gardening, sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He loved collecting different things. At Stanley’s request, there will no viewing or services. Interment St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.
