Obituary For Stephen J. Krejnus

Stephen J. Krejnus, 84, St. Benedict, formerly of Elmora passed away February 5, 2023 at St. Andrews Village, Indiana. He was born August 5, 1938 in Carrolltown, the son of Steven, Sr. and Mary (Zadarlik) Krejnus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Yedlosky) Krejnus and a brother in infancy. He is survived by children: Maureen Novella, Johnstown; Karen Needham, Bakerton; Patty (Brian) Goss, Nicktown; Susan (Chris) Wood, Northern Cambria and John (Monica) Krejnus, Bakerton; grandchildren: Kennedy Novella, Justin (Tasha) Goss, Matthew Goss, Heather (Doug) McNulty and Megan (Jeff) Patno; twelve great grandchildren; sister Helen Endler, Carrolltown and several nieces and nephews. He was graduate of John Carroll High School. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a millwright after many years of service. Steve was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and working on cars. Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, at Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. 146 North Main Street Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Additional visitation will be held in the Boniface Wimmer Room at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, Friday from 9 am until the 10 am Funeral Mass, by Rev. Michael Gabler, OSB. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown for masses.     So sorry to hear about Steve. He was an exceptinal person. I knew him when I worked at the Van Heusen Shirt Factory in Patton. (about 1961-62). He also sang at my mothers funeral. Soar high Steve, you will be missed.

    Godfather with life being as it is taking care of mom I wish I would have spent time with you over the years 💔 my heart breaks for the family but as I have learned it's the circle of life .. I will always have our memories and now you can be with Godmother may you rest in peace I LOVE YOU ❤️.
