Obituary For Thomas R. "Tom" Farabaugh

Thomas R. “Tom” Farabaugh, 66, Carrolltown passed away January 6, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. He was born July 27, 1954 in Spangler, the son of Charles R. and Alice M. (Sharbaugh) Farabaugh. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Mary (Wojno) Farabaugh, whom he married May 14, 1977, children: Laurie (J.J.) Bedell, Pittsburgh; Jessica Bradley (Dave O’Leary), Carrolltown; grandchildren: Kaylie and Carter Bradley; brothers and sister Charles (Jeanne) Farabaugh; Daniel (Jane) Farabaugh; Paul (Elizabeth) Farabaugh; Francine Farabaugh all of Carrolltown and several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Cambria Heights High School and Mount Aloysius College. He retired from the Colver Power Plant after many years of service. Tom was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Tom’s biggest pride were his grandchildren and attending their sporting events, golfing at the Lemon Drop and fishing on Glendale Lake in his boat. At Tom’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown by Rev. Jude W. Brady, OSB. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Benedict Catholic School. Arrangements are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home, Inc., Carrolltown.
